VOLLEYBALL
TORONTO

West-end players get to our courts faster than to most downtown gyms. Co-ed drop-ins, leagues and one-day tournaments, run just over the Mississauga line.

Closer than most Toronto gyms

Toronto has plenty of volleyball and almost none of it is easy to get into. City-run leagues sell out in minutes, private clubs run waitlists, and the good downtown drop-ins are standing room only by 7pm.

Our three venues sit just west of the city line in Mississauga. For anyone in Etobicoke, Islington, Long Branch or along the QEW and 427, that is often a shorter trip than crossing town to a downtown gym — and you can book a specific night instead of fighting for a registration slot.

What we want to build for Toronto players

The problem in Toronto is not supply of players, it is supply of court time and a booking system that rewards whoever refreshes fastest. We think that is a solvable problem.

Our aim is to keep adding weeknights until a Toronto player can find a session at their level on short notice, without a season-long registration and without a waitlist. That means more Intermediate+ court time, clearer skill divisions so a strong player is not stuck in a beginner gym, and tournaments frequent enough that a west-end team always has something to enter.

Every tournament we run is open to Toronto teams, and our leagues take rosters from anywhere in the GTA.

Getting here from Toronto

The QEW or the 427 south to Erin Mills or Winston Churchill, depending on the venue — typically twenty-five to forty minutes from the west end. Parking is free at all three gyms, which is its own argument against playing downtown.

Toronto volleyball questions

Where can Toronto players find drop-in volleyball?

Olympus Volleyball runs co-ed drop-ins at three venues just west of the Toronto line in Mississauga, easily reached from Etobicoke and the west end via the QEW or 427. Sessions start at $10 with no registration period and no waitlist.

How far is Olympus Volleyball from Toronto?

Twenty-five to forty minutes from the west end depending on traffic and which venue you are heading to. Parking is free at all three, unlike most downtown gyms.

Do I need a team to play?

No. Drop-ins are individual sign-ups and courts are organised on the night. Leagues and tournaments accept solo players for placement as well as full rosters.

Is there competitive volleyball for Toronto players?

Yes. Our Wednesday Intermediate+ session is the competitive weeknight, and we run one-day tournaments through the year with divisions by skill level. Toronto teams are welcome at all of them.
